Suzhou, China
September 8 – 12, 2011

Abstract Deadline: July 20, 2011

Organizers:
Shizuo Akira, Osaka University, Japan
Xuetao Cao, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, China
Genhong Cheng, University of California Los Angeles, USA

We are pleased to announce the Cold Spring Harbor Asia conference on Infection & Immunity which will be held at the Suzhou Dushu Lake Conference Center in Suzhou, China. The conference will begin at 7:00pm on the evening of Thursday September 8, and will conclude after lunch on Monday September 12, 2011.

This conference retains the essence of the prestigious Cold Spring Harbor NY meetings series, a program now in its 76th year. The conference will include eight oral sessions and one poster session covering the latest findings across many topics in infection and immunity research. Many talks will be selected from the openly submitted abstracts on the basis of scientific merit and relevance.

Major Topics:

- Pattern recognition and innate immunity
- Innate immune signaling
- Stem cell and immune development
- Transcriptional control of immune response
- Immune response to viral infections
- Immune response to bacterial infections
- Vaccines against infections
