產(chǎn)品描述:Cluster determinant 4 (CD4), a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin family of receptors, playsan integral role in signal transduction and T-cell differentiation, development and activation. CD4 is constitutively expressed on thesurface of various immune cells, including monocytes, macrophages, eosinophils, dendritic cells, and most prominently Tlymphocytes,where it functions as an essential co-receptor and co-ligand for T-cell receptor (TCR) and major histocompatibilitycomplex class II (MHC-II) molecules. Ligation by MHC-II molecules on the surface of antigen-presenting cells can serve toinfluence adaptive immunity by facilitating helper T-cell activation and macrophage differentiation, while ligation by proinflammatorycytokine IL-16 can contribute to innate immunity by chemoattracting CD4-expressing peripheral immune cells alongan IL-16 gradient for their recruitment and activation at sites of inflammation. The protean functionality of CD4 extends pastimmunity as CD4 also notably serves as the major receptor for HIV-1 and human herpes virus 7 (HHV-7) infections. During HIVpathogenesis, CD4 acts instrumentally as a high-affinity entry receptor for the internalization of HIV-1 following binding of the viralenvelope glycoprotein gp120 to CD4’s extracellular domain. PeproTech’sCHO cell-derived Recombinant Human sCD4 is amonomeric glycoprotein of 371 amino acid residues, which correspond to the extracellular CD4 domain, and a calculated molecularweight of 41.3 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, Recombinant Human sCD4 migrates with an apparent molecular mass of approximately 45-55 kDa by SDS-Page Gel analysis, under reducing conditions.

產(chǎn)品描述:Activin A is a TGF-β family member that exhibits a wide range of biological activities, including regulation of cellularproliferation and differentiation, and promotion of neuronal survival. Elevated levels of Activin A in human colorectal tumors andin postmenopausal women have been implicated in colorectal and breast cancers, respectively. The biological activities of Activin Acan be neutralized by inhibins and by the diffusible TGF-β antagonist, follistatin. Activin A binds to the two forms of activinreceptor type I (Act RI-A and Act RI-B) and two forms of activin receptor type II (Act RII-A and Act RII-B). Activins arehomodimers or heterodimers of different β subunits. They are produced as precursor proteins with an amino terminal propeptidethat is cleaved to release the C-terminal bioactive ligand. Recombinant Human/Murine/Rat Activin A is a 26.0 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer of two βA chains, each containing 116 amino acid residues.

產(chǎn)品描述:Formerly known as Wnt-15 or Wnt-14b, Wnt-9b is a secreted glycoprotein belonging to the Wnt family of signaling proteins that are critically involved in maintaining the integrity of both embryonic and adult tissues. Wnt-9b is primarily expressed in adult kidneys and during late embryogenesis, and shares with other Wnt family members the same highly conserved lipid-modified, cysteine-rich domain essential for cell signaling. As is true for most Wnt family members, Wnt-9b functions through the biochemical process known as the canonical Wnt pathway; during which Wnt proteins bind to and activate seven-pass transmembrane receptors of the Frizzled family, and ultimately result in the disruption of β-catenin degradation. Intracellular accumulation of β-catenin increases translocation of the protein into the nucleus, where it binds to TCF/LEF transcription factors to promote the expression of numerous genes. In this manner, Wnt signaling induces and maintains transformed phenotype, and, in certain embryonic cell lines, supports self-renewal in the absence of significant differentiation. While increased Wnt/β-catenin signaling is associated with tumorigenesis in a diverse set of human cancers, lack of Wnt signaling disrupts transcriptional activation of tumor suppressor genes, and has been shown to result in neoplastic transformation, oncogenesis, and human degenerative diseases. Altered Wnt-9b expression has been shown to result in the underdevelopment of the kidneys, and incomplete lip and cleft fusion in mice. Recombinant Human Wnt-9b is a monomeric glycoprotein containing 335 amino acid residues and has a calculated molecular weight of 36.9 kDa. Due to glycosylation, Recombinant Human Wnt-9b migrates at an apparent molecular weight of approximately 49-54 kDa by SDS-PAGE analysis under non-reducing conditions.

Expression of tissuefactor occurs constitutively within most extravascular and perivascular cells and at high levels within critical organs and tissue.Tissue factor is not normally expressed freely on the surface of circulating blood cells due to its pro-coagulant effect, but is insteadstored on the surface of mononuclear and endothelial cells in microparticles that can shed into circulation in response to vascularinjury, pro-inflammatory cytokines, or microbial ligands. Tissue factor can also be shed into circulation by cancer cells where itsexpression in a number of cancer types has been linked to tumor progression, metastatic potential, thrombosis, and angiogenesis.Expression of tissue factor has been shown to be inducible by select cytokines in a number of cell types, including IL-1β and TNF-αin vascular endothelial cells and macrophages, and TNF-α, IL-6, and FGF-Basic in monocytes, among others.
