By bringing together distinguished researchers with different areas of expertise in life sciences in China and the UK, this conference offers an excellent opportunity to explore the latest advances in life sciences and provides a platform for Chinese life scientists in the UK to meet, exchange ideas and establish research collaboration.
The 19th Annual Meeting of Chinese Life Scientists Society in the UK (CLSS-UK 2013) will take place at the Richard Doll Building, Old Road Campus, University of Oxford on 20-21 September 2013.

Registration Deadline
The deadline for online registration is 1 September 2013.
Registration Fee
There are two different registration rates for this conference: £50 for principal investigators (voluntary), and £0 for students and postdocs (though any donation to CLSS-UK is welcome).
Registration includes access to all sessions, lunch, dinner and refreshments on 21 September (but not the formal dinner on 20 September), and a copy of the conference handbook.
Formal Dinner
If you wish to attend the formal hall on 20 September, you will have to pay only £10 (per person) for a three-course dinner that costs £40. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Please make the payment at the reception desk on arrival.
Student Bursaries
There are 20 student bursaries available, intended to make a contribution (up to £60) towards the costs of transport to the conference. If you would like to apply, please indicate this in the registration form.
Abstract Guidelines
We encourage everyone to present their work at this conference. To ensure that the conference covers a wide diversity of topics, allabstracts will be automatically accepted for the poster sessions. If you wish your abstract to be considered for a short oral presentation, please indicate this in the registration form. Please note that you will still have to make a poster even if your abstract is selected.
