目前國內(nèi)高校和科研院所等單位的
Octet互作儀已有不下幾百臺。那這些單位的使用情況如何?是否產(chǎn)生了很多科研成果呢?廢話少說,數(shù)據(jù)說話!
陳老濕發(fā)現(xiàn)截至2021年第一季度,國內(nèi)單位發(fā)表的文章就有
100多篇引用了Octet數(shù)據(jù)的(約占全球Octet文章總數(shù)20%)。去除掉一些預(yù)印版文章、綜述以及未能下載的文章,陳老濕嘔心瀝血的統(tǒng)計了其中80多篇文章的單位以及應(yīng)用(所有文章在文末列出)。

第一季度文章發(fā)表單位共有60多個,基本都是Octet現(xiàn)有客戶。涉及
藥物研發(fā)、植物、腫瘤機理等各個方向。其中中國藥科大學、鄭州大學、上海生物化學與細胞研究所在2021年第一季度發(fā)表了至少3篇文章,還有其他11個單位發(fā)表了至少2篇文章。考慮到還有其他文章也是在上海生物化學與細胞研究所中完成的(比如上海巴斯德所),所以是當之無愧的最多產(chǎn)Octet客戶。

文章應(yīng)用統(tǒng)計
2021Q1 國內(nèi)文章應(yīng)用分布
可見,文章的主要應(yīng)用在于小分子、蛋白(含抗體)等物質(zhì)的互作,占了近7成。特別是小分子化合物的相關(guān)文章達到了3成,足可以說明Octet在
檢測小分子化合物上的表現(xiàn)有了長足進步。
另外,檢測物質(zhì)還有
細菌、多糖、脂質(zhì)體和納米顆粒,再次證明Octet在可檢測樣品種類范圍方面處于同類儀器領(lǐng)先地位。
為什么Octet的客戶能在短時間內(nèi)發(fā)表那么多文章?
1 良好的技術(shù)支持
比如西湖大學(Octet RED96e)、寧波大學(Octet K2)和華西醫(yī)院(Octet K2)都是2020年年中完成裝機培訓的儀器,使用僅半年就發(fā)表了至少2篇文章。這個成就離不開強大的Octet技術(shù)支持團隊的貢獻。比如華西醫(yī)院,盡管地處成都,Octet的應(yīng)用科學家在半年里就去了不下5次。此外西湖大學的設(shè)備基礎(chǔ)培訓,由于參與學員眾多,只能分成4組輪番上陣。雖然我們的培訓老師講的口干舌燥,但的確獲得了很好的效果,因此在裝機培訓后的短短2個月內(nèi)又舉辦了一次針對性的高級培訓。
據(jù)統(tǒng)計,僅2020年下半年,各種基礎(chǔ)培訓班、再培訓、在線培訓的次數(shù)達到三十幾場,培養(yǎng)了一批技術(shù)精湛的Octet使用者。(本周第三條推送有

2 儀器操作簡單易學,無需繁瑣日常維護
Octet系統(tǒng)擯棄了繁瑣的微流路設(shè)計,使用獨有的生物傳感器浸入即讀檢測方式,待測樣品亦無需特殊預(yù)處理。即使在使用中發(fā)生操作失誤,也不會導致儀器的損傷,只需重新啟動一下就可以繼續(xù)放心使用!儀器使用后無需繁瑣的維護工作,只要定期用酒精清潔一下探頭即可。
3 可檢測樣本種類范圍廣泛,定量化的分子互作表征技術(shù)
上文的應(yīng)用分布充分展示了可用于Octet檢測的樣品種類之寬泛,尤其可以滿足某些交叉學科的要求。由于ELISA和Pulldown等傳統(tǒng)方法一般都有洗滌步驟,導致一些解離快結(jié)合弱的互作無法檢測;而且操作較為繁瑣,測試一對樣品的結(jié)合反應(yīng)往往要花費1-2天時間,重復(fù)性也往往不甚理想。當實驗有效性存在問題時,也難于發(fā)現(xiàn)原因所在。Octet系統(tǒng)不僅可以彌補這些缺點,還可以增加互作檢測效率與可信度,滿足用戶高通量檢測的需求,在短時間內(nèi)同時平行檢測多對樣品的相互作用分析。
