Neuroblastoma suppressor of tumorigenicity 1, also known as DAN domain family member 1, Zinc finger protein DAN, Protein N03, DAND1 and NBL1, is a Secreted protein which belongs to the DAN family. NBL1 contains one CTCK (C-terminal cystine knot-like) domain. NBL1 was initially identified as a gene whose expression is downregulated in src-transformed rat fibroblasts. NBL1 is a possible candidate as a tumor suppressor gene of neuroblastoma. It has been reported that NBL1 acts an inhibitor of cell cycle progression and monocyte chemotaxis, and is closely involved in human neuroblastoma differentiation. NBL1 may play an important role in preventing cells from entering the final stage (G1/S) of the transformation process. NBL1 acts as the BMPs antagonist by binding to BMPs and preventing their interactions with signaling receptor complexes, and accordingly regulates the processes of embryonic development and tissue differentiation.

Novoprotein Recombinant Human DAN produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Ala16-Asp180) of Human dan (Uniprot #P41271) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

·Quality Control

Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
 

Endotoxin:Less than 0.1ng/μg (1EU/μg) of DAN (Human)

·Formulation
  Novoprotein Recombinant Human NBL1 was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.

·Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human NBL1 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.

·Storage
Lyophilized Recombinant Human NBL1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human NBL1 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
