Poliovirus receptor-related 3 (PVRL3), also known as Nectin-3 and CD113, is an 83 kDa, type I transmembrane glycoprotein which belongs to the nectin family. Its precursor is 549 amino acids (aa) in length and contains an extended signal sequence of 57 aa, an extracellular domain (ECD) of 347 aa, a transmembrane segment of 21 aa, and a cytoplasmic region of 124 aa. It is predominantly expressed in testis and placenta as well as in various cell lines, including epithelial cell lines. PVRL3/Nectin-3 plays a role in cell-cell adhesion through heterophilic trans-interactions with nectin-like proteins or nectins, such as trans-interaction with PVRL2/Nectin-2 at Sertoli-spermatid junctions. PVRL3/Nectin-3 is also involved in the formation of cell-cell junctions, including adherens junctions and synapses.

Novoprotein Recombinant Human Nectin-3 produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Gly58-Cys366) of Human nectin-3 (Uniprot #Q9NQS3) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

·Quality Control

Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
 

Endotoxin:Less than 0.1ng/μg (1EU/μg) of Nectin-3 (Human)

·Formulation
  Novoprotein Recombinant Human PVRL3 was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.

·Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human PVRL3 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.

·Storage
Lyophilized Recombinant Human PVRL3 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human PVRL3 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
