Semaphorin 3C is one of six Class 3 secreted semaphorins, which are potent chemorepellents, play a role in axon and/or vascular guidance during development, can be upregulated in the process of tumor progression. Semaphorin 3C consists of a 20 amino acids signal sequence, a N-terminal Sema domain, a cysteine knot, a furine-type cleavage site, an Ig-like domain, and a C-terminal basic domain. Semaphorin 3C expressed highly in the heart, colon, skeletal muscle, small intestine, testis, ovary and prostate, expresed lowly in the other organs, inclding brain.

Novoprotein Recombinant Human Semaphorin 3C produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Gly21-Ser738) of Human semaphorin 3c (Uniprot #Q99985) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

·Quality Control

Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.

·Formulation
  Novoprotein Recombinant Human SEMA3C was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.

·Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human SEMA3C in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.

·Storage
Lyophilized Recombinant Human SEMA3C although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human SEMA3C should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
