Thrombospondin type-1 domain-containing protein 1, also known as transmembrane molecule with thrombospondin module, THSD1 and TMTSP. THSD1 is a single-pass type I membrane protein. THSD1 contains a signal peptide and one TSP type-1 domain which is found in thrombospondin. THSD1 is a good novel candidate TSG mapping to 13q14. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed. THSD1 may be involved in the complement pathway.

Novoprotein Recombinant Human THSD1 produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Glu25-Ile361) of Human thsd1 (Uniprot #Q9NS62) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

·Quality Control

Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
 

Endotoxin:Less than 0.1ng/μg (1EU/μg) of THSD1 (Human)

·Formulation
  Novoprotein Recombinant Human THSD1 was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.

·Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human THSD1 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.

·Storage
Lyophilized Recombinant Human THSD1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human THSD1 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
