Toll-like receptor 2(TLR2)錛宎lso known as CD282 and TIL4, belongs to the Toll-like receptor family. TLR2 is expressed in mang tissues including monocytes, bone marrow, lymph node and in spleen,highly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes. TLR2 cooperates with LY96 to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipoproteins and other microbial cell wall components. It interacts with TLR1 to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipoproteins or lipopeptides. In addition, TLR2 acts via MYD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. TLR2 may also promote apoptosis in response to lipoproteins.

Novoprotein Recombinant Human TLR2 produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Glu21-Leu590) of Human tlr2 (Uniprot #O60603) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

·Quality Control

Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
 

Endotoxin:Less than 0.1ng/μg (1EU/μg) of TLR2 (Human)

·Formulation
  Novoprotein Recombinant Human TLR2 was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.

·Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human TLR2 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.

·Storage
Lyophilized Recombinant Human TLR2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human TLR2 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
