Protein-tyrosine sulfotransferase 1, also known as Tyrosylprotein sulfotransferase 1 and TPST1, belongs to the protein sulfotransferase family. TPST1 is a single-pass type I I membrane protein and widely expressed in all major tissues. TPST1 catalyzes the O-sulfation of tyrosine residues within acidic motifs of polypeptides. This reaction is mediated by a Golgi enzyme activity called tyrosylprotein sulfotransferase (TPST) that catalyzes the transfer of sulfate from 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate to tyrosine residues within acidic motifs of polypeptides.

Novoprotein Recombinant Human Tyrosylprotein Sulfotransferase 1/TPST1 produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Gln26-Glu370) of Human tpst1 (Uniprot #O60507) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

·Quality Control

Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
 

Endotoxin:Less than 0.1ng/μg (1EU/μg) of Tyrosylprotein Sulfotransferase 1/TPST1 (Human)

·Formulation
  Novoprotein Recombinant Human TPST1 was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.

·Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human TPST1 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.

·Storage
Lyophilized Recombinant Human TPST1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human TPST1 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
