Vasoactive intestinal polypeptide receptor 2(VIPR2, also known as Helodermin-preferring VIP receptor, Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide type III receptor and VIP2R, belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 2 family. VIPR2 is a receptor for VIP as well as PACAP-38 and -27 and the activity is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase. VIPR2 transduction results in upregulation of adenylate cyclase activity. VIPR2 mediates the anti-inflammatory effects of VIP. Furthermore VIPR2 may contribute to autoregulation and/or coupling within the Suprachiasmatic nucleus(SCN) core and to control of the SCN shell.

Novoprotein Recombinant Human VIP R2 produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Glu24-Val126) of Human vip r2 (Uniprot #P41587) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

·Quality Control

Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
 

Endotoxin:Less than 0.1ng/μg (1EU/μg) of VIP R2 (Human)

·Formulation
  Novoprotein Recombinant Human VIPR2 was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.

·Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human VIPR2 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.

·Storage
Lyophilized Recombinant Human VIPR2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human VIPR2 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
