CD27, also known as TNFRSF7, is a lymphocytespecific tumor necrosis factor receptor. It exists as both a dimeric glycoprotein on the cell surface and as a soluble protein in serum.CD27 is expressed on a subset of human thymocytes and on the majority of peripheral blood T cells. It is required for generation and long-term maintenance of T cell immunity. CD27 binds to ligand CD70, and plays a key role in regulating B-cell activation and immunoglobulin synthesis. In addition, CD27-binding protein (SIVA) can bind to the cytoplasmic tail of CD27 and exerts functions in the process of apoptosis.

·Description
Recombinant Human CD27 produced by transiently transfected human cell is the extracellular domain ( Accession # P26842))(Thr21-Ile192) of human CD27 fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

·Quality Control
Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
Amino-Acid Sequence: Predicted N terminal amino acid is Thr21.
Endotoxin: Less than 0.1ng/μg (1EU/μg) of rHuCD27.

·Formulation
Sterile and Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.

·Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized rHuCD27 in sterile water at not less than 100μg/ml.

·Storage
Lyophilized rHuCD27 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution rHu CD27 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples containing 0.1% BSA are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
