Complement C1q Tumor Necrosis Factor-Related Protein 1(C1QTNF1),also known as G protein-coupled receptor-interacting protein, is a novel adipokine containing a collagenous domain. C1QTNF1 has been shown to interact with Arginine vasopressin receptor 2. C1QTNF1 is vastly expressed in obese subjects as well as up-regulated in hypertensive patients. C1QTNF1 expression may be associated with a low-grade chronic inflammation status in adipose tissues.C1QTNF1 increases the production of aldosterone.
·Description
Recombinant Human C1QTNF1 produced by transiently transfected human cell is a secreted protein with sequence(Accession#Q9BXJ1) (Arg26-Pro281) of human C1QTNF1 fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
·Quality Control
Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
Amino-Acid Sequence: Predicted N terminal amino acid is Arg26.
Endotoxin:Less than 0.1ng/μg (1EU/μg) of rHu C1QTNF1.
·Formulation
Sterile and Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
·Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized rHu C1QTNF1 in sterile water at no less than 100μg/ml.
·Storage
Lyophilized rHuC1QTNF1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution rHu C1QTNF1 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples containing 0.1% BSA are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
