基因組編輯(Genome editing)和合成生物學(xué)(Synthetic biology)是近年來快速發(fā)展起來的生命科學(xué)的新興學(xué)科。全面合理地解決所涉及的理論，技術(shù)和具體操作層面的挑戰(zhàn)，以及倫理問題是實(shí)現(xiàn)人們改造自身和生存環(huán)境愿望的必要前提。國內(nèi)和國外的華人科學(xué)家在這兩個(gè)學(xué)科做出了令人矚目的突破性工作，并在臨床嘗試走在全球的前沿，這為我們籌辦這樣一次高水平的學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議奠定了扎實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。

 

為了確保本次會(huì)議的學(xué)術(shù)質(zhì)量，我們邀請(qǐng)到了活躍在基因組編輯（30分鐘報(bào)告13位，其中植物學(xué)方向2位，10分鐘報(bào)告一位）和合成生物學(xué)研究（30分鐘報(bào)告7位，10分鐘報(bào)告一位）第一線且已做出國際水平工作22位華人科學(xué)家，為了與與會(huì)者更好的交流探討，22位科學(xué)家將全程與會(huì)。同時(shí)，為了大幅提高青年學(xué)者展示工作和才華的機(jī)會(huì)，我們安排了為時(shí)1小時(shí)5分鐘的墻報(bào)（6月9日15:35-16:40）展示環(huán)節(jié)和9個(gè)10分鐘短talk的機(jī)會(huì)，此與會(huì)者將受邀與8日和9日晚與演講嘉賓共進(jìn)晚宴，獲得優(yōu)秀墻報(bào)證書和1000元的獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。

 

最后，我們還設(shè)置了為時(shí)1小時(shí)5分鐘的專題討論（6月9日下午16:40-17:40），就：1、基因組編輯和合成生物學(xué)的理論和技術(shù)挑戰(zhàn)；2，倫理I，生殖細(xì)胞的遺傳改造；3、倫理II；和 4、Alternative 技術(shù)進(jìn)行深入的討論。
