Invitation
On behalf of the Chinese Life Scientists Society in UK (CLSS-UK), we cordially invite all Chinese students, scientists, clinicians and academics who are currently studying or working in UK in the life science and biomedical fields to attend the 17th Annual Meeting of the CLSS-UK. The meeting will be held at William Harvey Lecture Theatre, Clinical School, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, on 26-27 August, 2011. The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for Chinese life scientists in UK to exchange ideas, share experience and establish collaborations with each other and also with life scientists in China.
We are planning to invite renowned professors and senior scientists from UK and China to give lectures in this meeting. The organising committee members are already working together to ensure a wide variety of lectures to be given to cover the various scientific areas of Life Science and Medicine. As a tradition of our annual meetings, we particularly encourage young investigators and Ph D students to join the meeting by offering travel grants and prizes for the best oral and poster presentations. This year, the meeting will also feature a unique meet-the–expert session where a panel of established senior academics and scientists will share their experience of career development and offer advice for junior members of the society. The full scientific program will be released in the 2nd announcement of the meeting.
We invite you to submit abstracts and to attend the meeting for making CLSS-UK annual meeting of 2011 a great success. We look forward to welcoming you to University of Cambridge in August, 2011.
Yours sincerely
